Describes impact of Illinois Public Act 103-0649 on the Federal Tri-Agency final rules regarding changes to STLDI plans. Public Act 103-0649 repeals the Short-Term, Limited-Duration Health Insurance Coverage Act (215 ILCS 190) and prohibits STLDI from being issued, delivered, amended, or renewed on or after January 1, 2025, in Illinois to any "natural or legal person." Also provides requirement for filing (via SERFF) of the Federal Notice for Hospital Indemnity or other Fixed Indemnity Insurance products issued, amended, or renewed, on or after January 1, 2025.
