Insurers are required to include the STLDI federal disclosure in materials for coverage beginning on or after Sept 1, 2024. Insurers should delete the current consumer disclosure required under TIC Section 1509.002. Insurers are required to include the Fixed Indemnity federal disclosure in materials for coverage beginning on or after Jan 1, 2025. Insurers will be required to file any updated or new forms, including policies, certificates, contracts of insurance, applications, marketing, enrollment and reenrollment materials.

Insurers must prominently display the STLDI notice on the first page of the policy and certificate, including any renewal or extension, and must be included in all marketing, application, and enrollment materials for policies or certificates issued Sept 1, 2024 and after. Insurers must prominently display the Fixed Indemnity notice in all marketing, application, and enrollment materials in both the individual and group markets for policies or certificates issued Jan 1, 2025 and after. Notices with associated changes must be filed with the commissioner for compliance.
